Welcome to the Bentley Manor Bed and Breakfast . Bentley Manor is a 16th Century Manor house. We currently have two rooms which consist of two Double rooms with En suite facilities.
WE ARE CURRENTLY CLOSED DUE TO FIRE REGULATIONS AND BEING IN DISPUTE WITH AN UNBENDING FIRE SERVICE IN TENDRING. THEY EXPECT US TO INSTALL SELF CLOSING FIRE DAYS UPSTAIRS & DOWNSTAIRS IN OUR GRADE 2 LISTED HOME AND LINKED FIRE ALARM SYSTEM ( ELSEWHERE IN THE COUNTRY THE REGULATIONS ARE INTERPRETED QUITE DIFFERENTLY ) WE ONLY HAD 2 B&B ROOMS AND ARE NOT PREPARED TO MAKE SUCH CHANGES TO OUR HOME.
Close to the Port of Harwich, and Colchester, England's oldest recorded town. Also close by is Dedham and the Essex Sunshine Coast resorts of Frinton, Walton & Clacton-on-Sea. Also the Port of Brightlingsea.
